Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Limited Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of entrepreneur Viren Merchant, have begun their pre-wedding festivities. It is anticipated that the pair will tie the knot later this year.
The inaugural “Lagan Lakhvanu” ceremony took place in Jamnagar, Gujarat, on Friday. In Jamnagar, at the Ambani farmhouse, the celebrations were planned. From March 1 to 3, Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s youngest son will have another set of pre-wedding celebrations at their Jamnagar home. Merchant wears a pastel-blue lehenga by renowned designer Anamika Khanna.
Anant Ambani’s Roka:
In December of 2022, following their roka ceremony, Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani exchanged rings at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. At Ambani’s home Antilia, their engagement celebration took place in January 2023. The couple completed traditional Gujarati rites including Gol Dhana and Chunari Vidhi as part of the major event. In Gujarati custom, Gol Dhana is a pre-wedding rite that resembles an engagement.

Anant Ambani, who was born in 1995, is now in charge of Reliance Industries Ltd.’s energy division, a crucial area of the Ambani family’s investments. Radhika Merchant:
In 1994, Radhika Merchant was born. Her father, Viren Merchant, is the CEO of the renowned pharmaceutical company Encore Healthcare. Ms. Merchant attended esteemed schools, such as Mumbai’s Ecole Mondiale World School, John Connon School, and The Cathedral.
After attending BD Somani International School to get an International Baccalaureate credential, she continued her education at New York University, where she earned her degree in 2017 with a concentration on politics and economics. Her career started with an internship at Desai & Diwanji, a consulting business.
After that, Ms. Merchant started working for the Mumbai-based real estate business Isprava as a junior sales manager. She works with Encore Healthcare as a director at the moment.
