On February 17, Suhani Bhatnagar, a Dangal girl, who portrayed a young Babita Kumari Phogat in Aamir Khan’s “Dangal,” passes away in Delhi at the age of 19. The actor apparently had a drug adverse effect after breaking his leg. Aamir Khan’s production company verified her demise.

They shared a news on their social media, “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family 🙏🏽. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani.” The note ended with, “Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts ❤️ May you rest in peace 🙏🏽.”

As per some reports, her death was caused by fluid collection throughout her body as a result of a reaction to medications following an injury. Suhani was reportedly hospitalized at AIIMS in Delhi for an extended period for treatment. Her funeral will be held on Saturday.

Her condition did not improve despite the committed efforts of the medical staff, which ultimately led to her demise. Later today, in Faridabad, family, friends, and industry colleagues will assemble for her last rites, where they will say a heartfelt goodbye to the budding star.

After starring as a young Babita Kumari Phogat in the 2016 movie “Dangal,” Suhani gained widespread fame. She appeared on screen alongside Zaira Wasim, Sakshi Tanwar, and Aamir Khan. She appeared in a few ads as well.

Dangal was biographical sports drama movie, helmed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. In the movie, Aamir played amateur wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who develops Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari into the first two female wrestlers in India to compete internationally.
