The Sabarmati Report is an upcoming Indian language drama and historical movie. The movie is directed by Ranjan Chandel and produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and A Vikir Films Production. Vikrant Massey, Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra in a prominent role. The movie is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2024.

The Sabarmati Report Plot:

The movie is based on true events that occurred aboard the ‘Sabarmati Express’ on the morning of February 27, 2002. The movie is based on the actual 2002 tragedy in which 59 Hindu pilgrims traveling back from Ayodhya perished in a fire onboard the Sabarmati Express, which was located close to the Gujarati Godhra train station.

Vikrant Massey plays Hindi journalist Samar Kumar, who works with a colleague reporter, Raashii Khanna, and a senior anchor, Ridhi Dogra. They break the news about the Godhra event and are confident that it was not an accident but rather an attack on the pilgrims. As they work to acquire proof to back up their accusations, they encounter criticism and scrutiny from their supervisors.

Overview:

The teaser revealed little-known details that had been kept under wraps for almost 20 years following the tragic tragedy on the Sabarmati Express that rocked the country. A scene of vandalism with a stalled and rock-pelted train returning from Ayodhya opens the film. Encounters with terrified people stranded on a blazing train may be found in the following clips. As soon as Vikrant tells his supervisor (Ridhi) what the news means, the camera moves to Vikrant.
