Sarfira is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language movie. The movie is directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and produced by Aruna Bhatia, Jyothika Saravanan, Suriya Sivakumar and Vikram Malhotra. It is the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru in 2021, the National Award-winning featuring by Suriya in the lead role. Akshay Kumar, Radhika Madan, Seema Biswas and Paresh Rawal all play significant parts in the movie. The movie is all set to theaters on 12 July 2024.

Sarfira Synopsis:

Sarfira is an amazing tale that takes place between the worlds of startups and aviation. It will encourage everyone, even the average person to dream big and follow their aspirations despite being labeled as insane. It is based on an Indian narrative of an underdog’s guts, drive, and ‘jugaad‘, of an underdog challenges the socioeconomic structure of a system rooted in caste, class, and power relationships.

Indian actress Radhika Madan appears in television and Bollywood movies. Madan has received several awards including as the Filmfare OTT Award and the Screen Award. Forbes India included Madan on its 30 Under 30 list for 2024.


After the success of the movies Airlift, Baby, Jai Bhim, OMG 2 and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, “Sarfira” is written by National award winner Sudha Kongara Prasad and Shalini Ushadevi. The movie has dialogue by Pooja Tolani, music by G.V. Prakash Kumar and is produced by Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment), Aruna Bhattia (Cape of Good Films), and South celebrities Suriya and Jyothika (2D Entertainment).


In addition, Akshay has also collaborating with Tiger Shroff in “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan”. The movie is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and scheduled to open in theaters on Eid 2024. Filmed in Scotland, Jordan, London, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, and other locales, this epic picture is making waves with its Hollywood-style cinematography and huge scope.
