The Archies is an upcoming Indian English and Hindi-language musical- comedy movie. The movie is directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti under the banner of Tiger Baby Films and Sharad Devarajan for Graphic India. A fictional band of musicians associated with Archie Comics is featured in the movie. The main cast of the movie includes Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Yuvraj Menda, Aditi Saigal and Vedang Raina. On 07 December 2023, ‘The Archies’ will release on Netflix

Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of Boney Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, would mark their debut in this movie. Mihir Ahuja, Aditi “Dot” Saigal, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina were revealed as the other main cast members in the movie. All three made their cinematic debuts with the exception of the former.
A musical play based on Archie Comics, set in the 1960s stars Indian performers as the cherished characters. A time full of youth, mischief, friendships, first loves, and all the things that come with being a young adult.
The entire family, including wife Jaya Bachchan, kids Abhishek and Shweta, daughter-in-law Aishwarya, son-in-law Nikhil Nanda, and grandchildren Aaradhya and Navya, attended the premiere of Agastya Nanda’s first movie, Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan was also present.
The Khan family, which includes Shah Rukh Khan, his spouse Gauri, and their children Aryan and AbRam went to the movie to support the Team . Shah Rukh Khan was spotted at the event wearing a special black t-shirt with the word “Archies” inscribed on it.
Some of the biggest personalities in Bollywood attended the star-studded event. The much-anticipated movie of the year opened to a packed house including Kajol, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor with his mother Neetu Kapoor and Hrithik-Saba.
Alongside Khushi Kapoor’s sister Janhvi Kapoor and her best friend Shanaya Kapoor, stars Aditya Roy Kapoor, Rekha, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ibrahim Ali Khan were also spotted on the red carpet.
