Yodha is an upcoming Hindi-language action thriller movie. The movie is directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Films. Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani are in prominent roles along with Sharik Khan, Sammy Jonas Heaney and several more in supporting parts. Yodha is slated to open in theaters on March 15, 2024.
Yodha’s Synopsis –
Sidharth Malhotra, who starred in Shershaah last year, will reprise his role as a soldier in an action thriller. In it, he will fight terrorists, save the passengers on a hijacked plane, and figure out how to survive when the engine of the aircraft fails. When a passenger jet is hijacked by terrorists, an off-duty soldier on board comes up with a plan to stop the hijackers and make sure everyone within survives when the engine fails.
Star Casting –
Indian actor Sidharth Malhotra performs in Hindi movies. He started his Bollywood career working as Karan Johar’s associate director on Dharma Productions’ 2010 film, My Name Is Khan. Sidharth attributes this film endeavor to his love of filmmaking and his later ambitions to become an actor.
Indian actress Disha Patani works in films. In the 2015 Puri Jaganath-directed film Loafer (Telegu), she portrayed her first main role. With the 2016 release of M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Disha made her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
Raashii Khanna is among the most sought-after and well-liked actresses. She still makes appearances in movies across other languages in addition to Bollywood. The Farzi actress will next be seen in the action thriller Yodha with Disha Patani and Sidharth Malhotra.
Screenplay –
Aarif Sheikh handled its editing. The music was performed by Shantanu Moitra, Sunny Bawra and Inder Bawra, while John Stewart Eduri composed the score for Bgm. Under the auspices of Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Films, Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan produced the movie. Muhammad Asif Ali and Sagar Ambre writes the script of the movie. B Praak & Tanishk Bagchi wrote the film’s lyrics, while B Praak & Manoj Muntashir composed the music.
Overview –
Malhotra and Dharma have previously worked together on other movies, such as his first feature film Student of the Year, Hasee Toh Phasee, Kapoor & Sons, and Shershaah. Shershaah, a military film, was Sidharth Malhotra’s last appearance. For his role as Captain Vikram Batra in the movie, the actor has drawn praise from both reviewers and viewers. Mission Majnu is another actor in Sidharth’s lineup. Together with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh will also feature in Thank God.
