Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language historical drama web series. The series is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Mitakshara Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Prerna Singh under the banner of Bhansali Productions. It stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal, Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan Suman, Shekhar Suman and Taha Shah Badussha. The series will premiere on Netflix on May 1, 2024.

Heeramandi Plot:

The series follows the life of tawaifs in Lahore’s red-light district, Heera Mandi, during India’s independence movement against the British Raj. The rivals Mallikajaan and Fareedan are engaged in a war for control of Heeramandi, a place where courtesans have queenly authority. Little Alam, Mallikajaan’s youngest daughter, is the only one with hope.

Fardeen Khan is about to make his cinematic comeback after 14 years with Heeramandi. The new image depicted the actor in a royal pose, slouching on a couch with a tray full of jewelry laid in front of him.

In addition, Shekhar Suman and his son Adhayayan Suman will be appearing in the Netflix series. Shekhar appeared as a Nawaab in a second post that debuted his series outfit, sporting a proud grin on his face.
