68% of Equals’ 1st week sales units represent physical sales, including 11,600 copies on vinyl, by far the week’s best-seller on wax, while 18% comes from streaming, and 14% from downloads. Additionally, Former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft debuts at number 2 with his ‘Acoustic Hymns Vol. 1’, his 6th UK Top 10 album while last week’s chart topper, Elton John’s ‘The Lockdown Sessions’, slips 1-3 on the UK Official Albums Chart. ‘The collection’ features collabs with Charlie Puth, Lil Nas X, Miley Cyrus, Stevie Nicks & Stevie Wonder and is Elton’s 8th No. 1 album and 1st in 9 years. Elton’s greatest hits album ‘Diamonds’  lifts 16-15 in the Top 20, in its 208th week in the Top 100!

Previous chart topper, Coldplay’s ‘Music Of The Spheres’, rebounds 5-4 after debuting at number 1 atop the UK Official Chart, while the 25th anniversary re-release of Spice Girls’ iconic chart-topping debut album ‘Spice’ rebounds to number 5. US band, The War On Drugs debuts at number 6 with their 5th album ‘I Don’t Live Here Anymore’ while Adele’s ’25’ slips 6-7. Moreover, Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘SOUR’ holds at number 8, while Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ rebounds 10-9 and Sam Fender’s ‘Seventeen Going Under’ rebounds 12-10 after landing at number 1 just four weeks ago!
