Bollywood actor Salman Khan has received a threat from Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of incarcerated criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, that Sunday’s attack at his home in Bandra, Mumbai was a “first and final warning.”

In an internet post, Bishnoi is said to have taken responsibility for the event shortly after the shorts were shot at Salman Khan’s residence on Sunday.

Bishnoi, referring to the “event” as a “trailer,” stated, “We have simply showed you a trailer so that you appreciate the scale of our strength and do not test it. This is the first and final warning.

In a Hindi Facebook post, he wrote: “We want peace. If the only decision against oppression is war, then so be it. Salman Khan, we have only shown you a trailer so that you understand the magnitude of our strength and do not test it. This is the first and last warning. After this, shots will not be fired outside the house only. And we have dogs named after Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel, whom you consider to be Gods. Now, I don’t have the habit of talking much.”

Meanwhile, PTI claimed, citing sources in Delhi police, that there is a suspicion that one of the two people shown in CCTV footage purportedly firing outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai home is from Gurugram.

Around five in the morning, two individuals shot four bullets outside the actor’s Bandra Galaxy Apartments and ran away. An FIR under IPC section 307 (attempt to kill) and the Arms Act has been filed against “unidentified persons,” according to a Bandra police official.

The Mumbai Crime Branch has taken charge of the investigation into the shooting outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Bandra residence. More than ten Crime Branch teams were assigned to undertake a comprehensive investigation into the shooting event.

Salman Khan received a threatening email at his office earlier in March 2023, which prompted the Mumbai Police to file a formal complaint (FIR) against Goldy Brar, Lawrence Bishnoi, and another person.

Additionally, IPC sections 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 506-II (criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention) were the subjects of the FIR. Prashant Gunjalkar, who ran an artist management business and was rumored to regularly visit Salman Khan’s Bandra home, filed the complaint that resulted in the filing of the FIR with the Bandra police.
