Amar Singh Chamkila, an Imtiaz Ali movie based on the life of the Punjabi singer. Starring Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh as the lead. Parineeti Chopra plays his wife Amarjot Kaur in the biopic. “A modest singer struggles with tremendous success and harsh criticism before his untimely death and his bold lyrics spark fame and wrath throughout Punjab.”

The movie is streaming on Netflix on 12 April 2024.

Premalu:

The Malayalam romantic comedy Premalu, starring Naslen and Mamitha Baiju, debuted on Disney+ Hotstar on April 12 after it was released in theaters on February 9. In addition to its original version, dubbings in Tamil and Hindi are also available.

Gaami:

The premise of the adventure drama, which stars Vishwak Sen, Ramya Pasupileti, and Chandini Chowdary, centers on Shankar, who embarks on a once-in-a-lifetime expedition to solve his peculiar health issue. The movie is premiered on Zee5 on 12th April.

Fallout:

Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the filmmakers of Interstellar and Westworld, collaborated on the series adaptation. The Fallout video games (and now the show) stand out among post-apocalyptic stories due to their bleak humor, which centers on issues of power, discrimination, and injustice. The movie will premiere on 12 April on Prime Video.

Love, Divided:

A delightful story of Valentina, a pianist who moves to a new apartment, and David, her socially shy neighbor and a game developer who needs quiet, is told in the Spanish romantic comedy Love, Divided. The tiny wall that separates them, which fuels their early arguments, gradually turns into an unusual relationship. The plot twist? They never actually see each other, thus their connection is told through the wall. The 2015 French film Blind Date is reimagined in this movie. The movie is streaming on 12th April on Netflix.
