The Family Star is an upcoming Telugu-Tamil action, comedy and family movie. The movie is directed by Parasuram Petla and produced by Dil Raju, Vasu Varma and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles along with Ajay Ghosh, Divyansha Kaushik and Abigayle Scobee. The movie is slated to be release in theaters on 5th April 2024 in Telugu and Tamil languages.
Overview –
The film has received a clean U certificate from the censor board. It offers a 2 hour and 30-minute family entertainment show that audiences of all ages will enjoy together. The CBFC initially gave the film a U/A certificate, requesting that the creators mute the rom-com’s swear language. The runtime for the version was similarly 2 hours and 43 minutes. The offensive language was utilized mostly in scenes set in the United States. The censor board also pointed out the excessive usage of liquor labels.
