Gippy Grewal was born into a Sikh family. His real name is Rupinder Singh Grewal, he adopted the stage name “Gippy” from his childhood nickname. He completed his studies at North India Institute of Hotel Management, Panchkula. He was inclined towards music and acting from a young age. His early education took place at Nankana Sahib Public School in Kot Gangu Rai, Ludhiana, and he later earned a degree in Hotel Management from the North India Institute of Hotel Management in Panchkula.

Personal Life:

Gippy Grewal is married to Ravneet Kaur, and the couple has three sons named Ekomkar Singh Grewal, Gurfateh Singh Grewal and Gurbaaz Grewal. He is known for keeping his personal life relatively private.

Gippy initially gained fame as a singer with his debut album “Chakkh Lai” in 2002 featuring Jagdev Maan. He continued to release successful Punjabi albums, earning recognition for his singing talent.
