Finally, the most viewed Netflix show Money Heist season 5 will bring to an end this December. As, it has actors Starring Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Corberó, Pedro Alonso, Itziar Ituño, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente and Najwa Nimri among others returning. Why is Money Heist ending with Season 5? When, in August last year Netflix announced that the next season will also be its final one, fans across the world were left with curious feelings. Meanwhile they cannot wait enough to know what happens inside the Bank of Spain after the cliff-hanger ending of Money Heist 4. The viewers are also sad because the hit crime-drama is coming to a close.
Director, Executive Producer and core team member, Jesús Colmenar revealed in a virtual meet, “We have many examples in international fiction of series that we think dragged on too long. And I think the smartest thing to do when a series is at the peak of its success, as Álex says, is to leave with a bang and make a season that is very special in many ways.” In an exclusive chat during the virtual set visit from Spain Money Heist showrunner and Executive Producer Álex Pina also said in a, “We’ve made over 2,000 minutes of fiction with two heists. I think we’ve exhausted some of the characters’ emotional arcs and their arcs of transformation. We’ve told a lot and I think it’s a good time to stop. It’s a very climatic season and I think it’s always better to leave sooner rather than later.”
Money Heist season 5 is going to be released in two parts, which will be a ten episode season. However, volume 1 will begin streaming on Netflix on September 3rd and volume 2 will be debuted following towards the end of year 2021, December 3rd. The story will be continued from where we left it in season 4, including inspector Alicia Sierra catching the Professor at his hideout and Nairobi’s death. The professor and his so-called gang commenced the plan after successfully robbing the Royal Mint of Spain in the show’s first two seasons. However, the arrest and illegal detention of one of their members, Rio, forced the team to reunite with a bigger agenda. The mastermind Professor and his force called gang of robbers, undertook its second heist at the Bank of Spain in season 3 and 4.

The show began with eight original robbers, three of them were killed by the end of the first robbery. Which were Berlin, Moscow and Oslo. Somehow, Berlin might have died in Money Heist season 2.
