In ancient India, the legendary king Hiranyakashipu had sought the help of his sister Holika to kill his son Prahlada, who is the worshiper of Lord Vishnu. Holika sat on a pyre to hold and burn Prahlada while wearing a cloak, which was supposed to protect her from fire. Luckily, Prahlada survived and Holika burned to death. On this seasonal festival, everyone celebrates this festival by playing with different colours. People of all ages celebrate this festival with full joy and happiness with their friends and neighbors. They play with liquid colors, water guns and balloons and colored powders.
