With cinemas being back in business after the covid-19 lockdown, filmmakers are all set to release their movies in the theatres. many punjabi filmmakers are announcing the new release dates of their projects. with industry recovering from the tragic loss of sidhu moosewala, the recent movie to get a new release date is ‘shareek 2’: having dev kharoud and jimmy shergill, its main starcast. the movie will be making it to the big screens on july 8, 2022.
The film is a family drama, packed with a lot of emotions and action. it is one of the highly awaited pollywood sequels, which was set back because of the covid-19 crisis. however, now that the new release date has been announced, it seems finally the good days for cinephiles will be here soon.
Just to make the audience notorious, the first part of the movie which was “shareek”, had won the hearts of public and did a good business, in which jimmy shergill and mahi gill were protagonists.
Talking about the cast and crew of the shareek 2, alongside dev kharoud and jimmy shergill, the mivie has sharan kaur as the female lead. other actors who will be seen playing deciding roles include amar noorie, mukul dev, anita meet, yograj singh, aman sutardhar, mahavir bhullar, and sunita dhir. the movie is written by inderpal singh, has been directed by navaniat singh and harmeet singh as the cinematographer.
This would be worth-watching whether this pollywood sequel will be able to make quite an impression on the excited audience or not!
