The movie revolves around the life of a young talented musician named Iqbal Singh. Iqbal Singh is a dedicated Punjabi boy who resolves to chase his dream of traveling overseas, only to have his life take an unexpected turn. When Guru Randhawa falls in love with a girl named Isha Talwar, he will experience ups and downs in his life.
Guru Randhawa will play Iqbal Singh. A big musical touch will be added to this romance story with the addition of Guru Randhawa’s captivating voice to a few of the film’s tracks under the T-Series brand. Shot in stunning locales like Kashmir, Canada, and other scenic spots, “Shahkot” is expected to be a visual feast for the spectator.
Isha Talwar, a well-known actress in South India, has joined the cast to play Guru’s love interest. She plays a vibrant young lady who was raised by her stern father, Raj Babbar as Abba Ji. Punjabi actor Hardip Gill plays a dishonest police officer in the movie and Gurshabad plays Iqbal’s reliable buddy.

The film examines the conflict between duty and love in the life of a young child divided between two nations.
