A tense social media feud started last week when Brittany Aldean made a seemingly transphobic comment in a recent Instagram post prompting Morris to indirectly call her a “scumbag human” in a follow-up tweet. It Seems like Aldean and Hurd are rallying behind their wives by their comments and posts.
Morris’ husband, Hurd spoke out in solidarity with his wife by writing a tweet which says,” Scoring quick points by picking on trans kids isn’t something that is brave at all. And I’m proud of Maren for sticking up for them. Badge of honor to have CO engage in completely normal discourse, too. Shut up and sing only applies to those who you disagree with.”
Jason Aldean also backed up his own wife, commenting on one of her recent Instagram photos with, “MY Barbie!!” in response to Morris calling her an “Insurrection Barbie,” after the comment she made about transgender youth.
