Sidhu Moosewala, a singer and rapper turned politician shot dead on 29 May by unidentified suspects near village Jawahar Ke , Mansa . He was travelling in his Mahindra SUV along with two other persons when he shot dead. Police claimed this killing as a result of inter-gang rivalry after Lawrence Bishnoi and canada based gangster Goldy Brar took the responsibility.
Sidhu would have turned 29 on June 17 and soon planning to tie the knot in this November with his ladylove whom he met two years ago. He was planning to get married to Amandeep Kaur , from Punjab’s Sangrur district and a Canada based professional . Even, Sidhu’s mother Charan Kaur revealed the same about his wedding. She said this in an earlier media report ,”Just a little more time he will not be a bachelor anymore. We are preparing for his wedding, which will take place this year after the elections”.
As per several reports , Shubhdeep Singh better known as Sidhu Moosewala was earlier set to married in April but due to his loss in assembly elections , the wedding postponed to November. His family was preparing for the marriage but no one knows that the unfortunate event would take place .
Sidhu Moosewala was cremated on Tuesday on his ancestral land . A huge crowd from Punjab , Haryana , Rajasthan and from other places gathered to catch the last glimpse of their favourite singer. Just after one day of his security withdrawn by punjab government , the singer shot with more than 30 fired rounds . An investigation by Punjab Police officials is underway to nab the culprits . Even one suspected person involved in Sidhu’s brutal killing has been arrested by Punjab Police. Moosewala’s family and fans want fair probe .
