Karwa Chauth literally means presenting ‘Argya’ to the moon on the Chaturthi of the Karthika month, using an earthen pitcher called a Karwa. Every year, on the fourth day of the dark fortnight in the Kartika month, the event takes place. There are some anecdotes connected to this festival, despite the fact that its origins are still somewhat unclear.

Stars like Shila Shetty, Raveena Tandon, and Mira Kapoor were among the celebrities who attended Sunita Kapoor’s (wife of Anil Kapoor) Karwa Chauth party at their home.
At Sunita Kapoor’s home, Shilpa Shetty celebrated her Karwa Chauth. Shilpa posted a video of a ceremony to her Instagram account and wrote as a description, “Happy Karva Chauth ladies. Thankyou @kapoor.sunita for all the meticulous planning and doing all the rituals with so much love.”
Mira Rajput, Natasha Dalal, Mana Shetty, and Geeta Basra are depicted carrying out the rites at a different table.
Additionally, Sunita Kapoor posted numerous photos from the celebrations from the previous year. Three photos were posted by Sunita. Each of the women who attended the celebrations was represented in the first picture as a group. Greetings for a “Happy #karvachauth” to her followers, Katrina Kaif shared a set of pictures from her celebration that featured her in-laws and husband Vicky Kaushal.
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul tied the knot this year in January 2023. It will be Athiya and Rahul’s first Karwa Chauth together this year.
It was also Hansika Motwani’s first Karwa Chauth. Using her Instagram account to post images from her Karwa Chauth celebrations, she stated, #happykarwachauth thank you for fasting with me baby. Love you (sic).”
