Punjabi music possesses its own attraction: it captures the attention with fast-paced, up-tempo beats, driving vocals condensed in platforms with vibrant visuals depicting stories of an expository nature. One song we received in 2020 was "Pamma Jatt," a fast-paced song by Korala Maan with the vocals of Gurlej Akhtar backed by the reputable, reliable label Bang Music. The narrative direction, advertising company involvement in Chandigarh, and everything else took a song and a video, amazing into a phenomenal new song on every digital outlet in such a short, elevated time after the song was released.

"Pamma Jatt" is a listening experience distinct from other audio experiences; it is a cinematic experience put together by some of the best talent in Punjabi music.

A Song Powered by Talent & Emotion

"Pamma Jatt" prominently features Korala Maan; the lyrics are his own, in addition to his beautiful voice. He brings sincerity to the song with his clear and powerful voice and what appears to be heartfelt writing. And then there is Gurlej Akhtar, who brings a level of excitement with her infectious vocals that have endeared her to Punjabi music fans.

The song features the signature production of Desi Crew, who have a reputation for producing hits. Their music style is identifiable with strong bass lines supplemented with sounds of folk music, which works perfectly for this song. Sameer Charegaonkar mixed and mastered the audio while maintaining the quality of the sound so it is rich and clear for the audience.

A Cinematic Visual Experience

"Pamma Jatt," with its rich visuals, definitely grabs the eye due to the team behind it, who managed to tell the story with creativity and precision.  The director, Parm Chahal, did exceptionally well with imagery that supported the overall tone of the song.  Cinematographer Aswani Thapar brought the new film to life with appealing shots, producing frames that added an extra layer of nuance and depth to the viewing experience. 

As for Isha Sharma, she is the standout in the film, providing an impressive performance that draws the audience into the film, significantly raising the emotional stakes of the narrative.  Isha's presence and expression go a long way in propelling the narrative forward. 

There is also a very dedicated production team that took care of every minuscule detail behind the scenes.  The project is produced by Vikram Jeet Singh and Jasveer Singh of Team Million Steps Films, praised for their visual quality.  The professional-looking video was polished further with makeup from Honey Makeup and wardrobe by Gurdev Sons and with the help of Munish (Jimmy).
